What audio formats can I import?

Audiobook Binder Pro supports MP3, M4A, M4B, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, and AAC files.

What format does it export to?

The app exports to M4B format at 128 kbps AAC with embedded chapter markers. This format is compatible with Apple Books and most audiobook players.

Why can't I see my audiobook in Apple Books?

After exporting, double-click the M4B file to open it in Apple Books. It will be added to your library automatically. Make sure you're looking in the Audiobooks section, not Music or Books.

Can I add cover art?

Cover art support is coming in a future update. For now, you can add cover art to the exported M4B file using Apple Books (Get Info) or other metadata editors.

The app won't open my audio files

Make sure your files are in a supported format. If you're having trouble with specific files, try converting them to MP3 first using a tool like the built-in macOS Music app or ffmpeg.

Where are my projects saved?

Projects are automatically saved in the app's data folder. They persist between app launches. To delete a project, select it in the sidebar and click the trash icon.

What macOS version is required?

Audiobook Binder Pro requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later.
